A Selection of Works:

For close to 13 years, I have focused on highlighting the stories and history of marginalized minorities in the MENA region. Through my art and political activism, I focus on the intersections between Jewish and indigenous Mizrahi & Sephardic identities, advocate for the inclusion of Jewish history in North-Africa, and build meaningful bridges between Muslims and Jews. I have exhibited my work twice at the Jerusalem Biennale, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Brandeis University, the Hadassah Institute, the Elie Wiesel Center at Boston University, the Center for Jewish History, the Muslim-Jewish Conference in Berlin, the British Council, the Sidi Belyouth Cultural Complex in Casablanca, and the Crossroads of Civilizations Museum in the United Arab Emirates.

Hide & Seek

This video installation explores intersectionality and the challenges faced by women from Mediterranean cultures who choose to identify as spiritual/religious or to consciously not do so and whose bodies are often used as battlefields for different ideologies and means to political ends rather than vessels for consciousness, freedom and self-actualization.
